Philippines - Baguio City
hahaha...yeeehhha ,whn it rains it freakin pours!yes, internet is everywhere.!.!.and i can see tht u guyz are in Hotel Venice takin it frm the site of ur camrah!...oh compressed city market!thts wut i miss in SM BAGUIO..Panoramic view of the Town...and yes its sad, tht ur trip was short! u missed other sites of the city!u shld went outskirts!and am smart! I guessed it right abt Hotel Venice!hehe...
Beautiful Baguio
Baguio is my Home City....The Native's City....Indigenous people of the Cordillera Region are mostly here all through out the year....We all love Baguio as well as Tourists too...Who can't miss Baguio??? Hi to all my relatives in Baguio! There are no terrorist in here...hehehe...maybe they are afraid of us but u can still see muslims around in Baguio and their population is growing now....they came here not to terorize but to sell their goods and for better and safer living...unlike in Mindanao....where they belong...Mindanao is still not a safe place to stay...The population of Foreigners who wants to live in Baguio is growing too! This means Baguio is Safe... A Safe Place to Stay......with all its own Natural Beauty.....

Philippines - Flight from Manila to Baguio (v2)
Well juz in case u don't know...Baguio is a 6 hr trip to Sagada by bus....Baguio is a 12hr trip to Kalinga by bus...hehe...From Kalinga to Bontoc u can take the short cut....Seeing the Beauty of Kalinga Province... shorter trip takes 6hrs by bus....From Bontoc, Mountain Province to Sagada, Mountain Province is 3-4 hrs trip....Feeling exhausted??? hehehe... if u want to go by air....lol take a copter!...or this tourist who rather took the plane frm Manila going to Baguio!.....its so funny...coz they quoted about the "chickens" hahaha...so how's the smell??? I think you smell those goodies for 45 minutes....hahaha...and yes, Manila to Baguio is a 6hr trip by bus!
Kalinga Dance, Sakpaya
Kalinga Dance: Filmed in Lubuagan, Kalinga Philippines. Still part of Northern Luzon. Go Highlanders! I love this Dance!!! It's so Cool... Been in Lubuagan 3yrs ago...haha...for a research! Been to Western Uma,Upper Uma...My coleagues in that time were really exhausted...haha...we trekked...and those trails...love it...but my buddies wanted to rest....our leader dnt want to so we kept on hiking....Thank's for Vice Mayor for the Food....and guards...Hehe...Of course I know Kalinga Province is the so called "THE HEAD HUNTERS PLACE" its not good going to remote places without knowing someone from there. Anyways, I'm still here in Tabuk - Kalinga....

THE FLOAT PARADE
Penagbenga Continues.....
The floats are made beautiful thousands of flowers were spent for the float parade. The sponsors of each floats never worried about how much they spent for the floats. The floats are all pretty and i wonder how the judges of the city government rated the floats to 9 point sumthin from all of the 20 Floats presented during the parade..since it was a contest the winners are First: the Sinutab Capsule, 2nd: the Colourful Float, Third: the Tender Juicy Hotdog and Fourth: the Fire Breathing Dragon...
Goodness, it didn't rain unlike yesterday for the streetdancing parade of all the universities including elementary and secondary levels imagine how they performed chillin outside but still managed to be at their best....i salute all these people who never thought of backing out from the parade though rain splashes to the ground so hard.
I called ate Helen to accompany me to watch the float parade we juz have this short ride because the city's jammed and we have to walk. So we walk from the Public market, goin to Burnham Park passing Melvin Jones Grand Stand, the Burnham Lake then the Skating Rink. As we are at the entrance Gate of the Athletic Bowl we need to slow down because all people who wants to watch the program from Athletic Bowl are compressed...i hardly breathe i should have stayed at home and watched T.V. but i wanted to at least try not to spoil my day so i decided to get out from my camp. They have the Band show from different respective colleges of each schools around the city. They all played great with their drums, trumphets and etc...i appreciate their music plus their art of dancing despite of holding their breathe with their heavy instruments.
After the program we walked through the breeze of the pine trees along the park. Walkin the side of Baguio Colleges FounDation to Session Road upto SM Baguio.We went to have our window shopping and get to the Hub Net to rest as im havin an hour checkin my emails. Went down to the ground floor and meet ate Helen's friends who came from Manila to treat us at Star Bucks Cafe. Then we went to the Mandarin Restaurant to have our lunch.
As we parted with her friends passing Session Road closed For the Trade Fair I noticed how the city government cares for the streets along the Session. They sent Garbage trucks and as for the clean and green projects were still implemented to the city during the whole month of Festival. It was really a very promising action of the government wherein you don't notice this being implemented to other regions or cities. We remember that Baguio won for the cleanest city of the Philippines and Palawan where in it is one of the country's pride for tourism.
Went home after to take a rest. Relaxed muh feet had my spa for i had a long walk!!! cooked my dinner and watched "Finding Nemo"....:) well this ends my story for today....

"The Blooming Of Flowers"
FLOWER FESTIVAL
We celebrate Flower Festival on the month of Febuary every year here in the Summer Capital Region of the Philippines.
At 1400 hrs a day b4 the Grand Opening of this Festival Charity came to fetch me to accompany her to look 4 a transient place 4 her friends from the lowlands who wants to come up here in Baguio City to witness the Flower Festival. However, they are not the only people to come up here. Everyone elso does...People from different places, age and races comes up here to watch the highlands unique, glamourous, outstanding Flower Festival every year. So if you gonna take a ride goin to town u bettah walk!!!LOL!!!coz the whole city is jammed....all people around....cars can't pass by the streets...If you wanna take a stroll with ur friends, family or relatives along SESSION Road u will notice people are compressed!!! Fastfood Chains are full so u bettah eat at home b4 u go out...
This 21st, it was really boring 4 me coz i've never gone out to Watch the "STREET DANCING" performed by the different levels of universities and schools may it be private or public...Street Dancing is juz the advance party of the Festival....I found it boring coz it was cold reachin 7-9 degrees outside plus it was also raining....i wondered how all those students performed and the audience outside with the hard rain....So i watched the TV Live and all the people are still watching enjoying to watch the street dancing of the respected different schools...At this moment im writing about this day & how bored I am really...I juz stayed at home did my old chores and after dinner i stayed in my room listening music, read a novel & some journals from one of our country's best writers.
The whole day My friends are out with their respective dates and some with their families; my boardmates are gone to watch the 2nd program. The "FIREWORKS" started at 1800 hrs held at the MELVIN JONES GRANDSTAND. I can hear it all from here inside muh room. Juz 3000 meters away from me. Imagining the people around shouting wondring how happy they were enjoying each others company.
The 3rd program starts at 1900 hrs til dawn. "Scattered Concerts" all diferent kinds of bands around the city began at the same time exactly after an hour of FireWorks. Scattered Concerts are hel around the different cool places around the City of Pines like; Malcom Square, Melvin Jones GrandStand, Athletic Bowl, Baguio Convention Center, Upper Session Rotonda, Sm Baguio and etc...You will hear Acoustic, Emo,Country, Pop, R&B, Alternatives and ofcourse All Kinds of Rock. Rock Bands are never phased out. All the bands came from the National Capital Region.
The bands are our Country's greatest bands from the Philippine Music Industry. u have no worry watching all of these concerts coz its all for free no need for tickets to pay!!! All you need to do is get up ur asses off from whea u at and get in thea!!!Join em as if ur all in energy to hang out til dawn not thinking bout the cold temperature!!!
Takin a moment to seek about myself inside my room while people are all out thea celebrating PENAGBENGA. How have I gone through all these years? Facing the mirror smiling, combing muh hair and searching for the changes despite of age, looks and everythin!!!Looking further from the inside ...I had this question "Am I Happy?"then i was smirkin...ofcourse i was happy!!!dammit!!! I am askin "are you happy now?" I anwered stating the question back "Am I Happy Now?" Negating myself , feeling a li'l bit crazy like in a Mojo status...lol!
Well, do I have to explain everythin? wuts up from the matter of bein a fool sumtimes? tryin to make a CLEARWAVE inside me givin a try to make myself look good thru the mirror with muh jammies. Oh c'mon Fame! Wut were you thinkin all about? Can't u juz give urself a break? juz be jolly the way u were since childhood. A jolly good fella thaty brings happiness to the world.
Wut brings me to this situation is tryin to make a good pathway or Direction of my life. A life that deals with full acceptance of reality, changes, facing challenges, keepin faith, havin good humour, sense of reponsibility, respect and love.
Haven't I noticed that im bein a loner at this moment??? As th DJ from my favorite FM Station (K-Light) played the song "I'm All Out Of Love" by Air Supply...Whoooaaa...I felt like cryin again but then thea's no tears at all....Am I changing for the BETTER? or for the WORSE? Then I hummed, singing with the radio all along....it feels great, making me more think about challenge; then here's the next song Aired from the station......"Thank You For Loving Me" by Bon Jovi!!!Now, wut am i feeling about this song makes me more emotional yet with no tears at all...Singin with the radio feeling the sense of releasing my emotions singing out loud!!!"I can't see the Bottom Line""I couldn't Breathe""Thank You For Loving Me."
Then here comes the song of "RiverMaya" one of our country's best rock band...singing the 1st and 2nd stanza of the their song " A LOVe TO SHARE" goes like this.................

I'd take all the sorrows from every goodbye
I'd shed all the tears so no one ever needs to cry."

This song took me long facing the mirror; switched off the light, grabbed my penlight flashin it back thru the mirror...having an abstract thinking about a li'l "brightlight" despite of the darkness....switched back on the lights realizin muh self from the inside...missing my MOM who's 1800 hrs away from me by Plane and my only younger brother who's 1200 hrs away from me by Bus. I'm missing my Family and relatives! I love yah all guys! you're all that i got that inspires me...have to sign off coz' i'm having this humane attitude again..Gotta make a cup of tea b4 i sleep!!! Ooops..ofcourse....I don't forget to pray for everyone!!! Love yah all!!! Till next time!!!
